The latest batch of flint strikers, these are already gone, someone wanted them as Christmas gifts, got to get busy and make some more. Forged from old files, with a tin and English black flint shards. Since old files are getting hard to find I'll likely be switching to W1 for future strikers.

Wow nice knife. I checked out your knife site and man I truly think that you are NOT charging enough for your forged/heat treated knives! Seriously, with all the work and expense of knife making they are a true bargain and I would be proud to own one.

Take care and if I find someone looking for a knife I will send them a link to your site.

Thanks, but with the market rite now I'm doing good to sell one once in a while. Your rite, I'm not charging enough and am actually loosing money when you consider material cost and consumables that go into it like gas and grinding belts. But when they don't sell and you've been out of work for a while you do what you have to to keep the lights on. Luckily I've recently gotten a job, so that helps.

Nice, I would call that a work of art. I do leather work and like it was mentioned on here, it is hard to charge enough for the time spent on this kind of artwork. Their is only one knife exactly like that one in the world, their may be another one similar to it but none just like it. Their are some folks out there who do appreciate fine artwork and realize the value of this kind of effort. More power to you.
