    they are not pallets they are rafts probably a rental company possibly on the Yulong or the Li river

    Frank S's explanation makes sense. The combination of these rudimentary log rafts and this complex stacker is just too anachronistic; this being a tourist attraction makes more sense.

    Agreed, and Anachronistic is a great appraisal. Good "Engineering" on the water born stacking system though. A lot to think about all that mechanical movement in water. Funny to me was what looked like Granny's in a rocker on the last raft. Kind of Beverly Hillbillies on the 405.
