Really well thought out and executed, Old_Toolmaker. Like the additional clamping positions too. Great for the mini's and others that mill in their lathes. Curious of the reason for the counter bore in the middle of the V's?

Old_Toolmaker offers the counterbore is drill clearance, perfectly sensible. I'll bet it's perfectly located to the Vee's, bored and readily accessed to dial in the centerline too.

I think you have a product there. Your disclosure here pretty much gives you a "poor man's patent" and the rights to make and sell them. I'd buy rough shaped extrusions and just do the finish machining on them. (simple extrusion dies with no holes in the parts are pretty cheap from many smaller suppliers of extrusions). Avoid publishing your drawing. Otherwise the Chinese or Indian competition will appear in a couple of months. EdW
