AXA QC Tool Post Cross Drilling/Milling Attachment

I built this cross drilling and milling attachment (holder) to fit an AXA quick change tool post for the lathe. It fits my Micro-Mark 7 x 16 mini lathe as well an an 11" model 1955 Logan. It is has been very useful for milling flats on shafts, key ways and cross drilling of holes, etc. I have also used for cross drilling holes through hardened and chromed Thompson way shafting. It is quick to set up and align to center height and removes just as fast. Once center height is set for a particular lathe it can just be locked at that setting for future jobs without the need to do it again making for even faster set up.

Really well thought out and executed, Old_Toolmaker. Like the additional clamping positions too. Great for the mini's and others that mill in their lathes. Curious of the reason for the counter bore in the middle of the V's?
