Beautifull knife. Here carrying any kind of knife outside woods is prohibited, unless you're wearing traditional costume wich includes traditional knife.

A man of many, many talents Olderdan! Shape, style, fuller, beautiful handle...and then the engraving all by hand on a leaf spring....WoW! So glad this thread came back around!

Thank you for sharing this beautiful gift.

That is my favorite from that movie. Your knife is indeed awesome.

Don't think I could live in a country that had that much control - and I don't even carry a knife, much less CC. Just seems wrong.

All those comments are impossible to follow in appraisal. I LOVE IT! As kids we used to pretend we had Bowie knives, as I'm sure most of the readers did too, and we would practice throwing these as close to & between the other guys feet/foot and then narrow the distance between our feet with knees trembling. My favourite copy of the bowie knife, I think was a nemrod divers knife, which had a similar shape but onky about a 20 cm blade ( might still have it in my fishing gear as it was great for sharks, long toms, salt cat fish, & grinners brought aboard.

True work of art Dan & useful to boot.
