Computer Numerical Control on a RF-30

CNC is a vast ocean of things to know. This article explains how I dipped my toe in and got it a little moist: Installing axis drive hardware and spindle VFD control. I will evolve the text as I complete the hardware plus explain how the software, Mach3, is tied to the hardware.

    Rick,

You have compiled an excellent article and easy to follow with the diagrams and photos. Great insight on the necessary grounding (and the design flaw with connecting all of the optos to the same ground). I am looking forward to you future endeavors for CNC.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm still in the very steep part of the learning curve. Lots of articles to follow.
