    I wonder if there's a way to capture the aesthetic without embedding everything in epoxy. You can even intentionally create visually interesting swarf, rather than just working with generic sweepings.

    The usual procedure is to let a layer of epoxy set up, but not cure, then add the rest with the aggregate. The two layers of epoxy will bind seamlessly. Then it's just a matter of working the first layer, which is the top (or whatever surface is to be exposed). No danger of exposing the aggregate.

    This guy dose it all in differnt type of resins.
    Even made bacon handle for some kind of kitchen tool.
