    Paint Shaker
    I was just goofing off in the shop and needed a small can of paint mixed
    so this was what i made
    its a pit funny and it mixed the paint

    Haha - that's my kind of solution. FWIW - I've found that glass drilling bits available at the big box store do a pretty good job of making holes in hardened metal.
    If you can't make it precise make it adjustable.

    I want to build a shaker to carbonate water, at the moment I shake the 2 litre bottles by hand.

    if i was going to do this for real
    i would add a spring to the end of the blade (it was a little hard on the elbow)
    i would also add large flat baring like on a bar stool or a lazy Susan

    You need some threaded rod a cross bar and some wing nuts to hold that can down. That way you can nix that clamp and mount the can further back away from your saw. Would make a much more finished machine.
