I saw a pile of those 2 years ago in switzerland, nits, bolts pliers, crescent wench,box end wrenches many tools,I thought they were real. OH SO realistic!!! some with rust some without, some with some splotches of different color paint.they all looked real!!!! most were swiss chocolate!!! I wish i had got some, but I know they would not make the journy back home. it was a small Christmas festival in Thun Switzerland, what a great time that was. I went a few months later this year, no tools...but great time!!!!

I guess eating tools is now an ASMR thing? ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is a weird internet-driven trend of videos that produce mild euphoric sensations in people when they hear specific common sounds. At this point, the rough consensus seems to be that ASMR is NOT pseudoscience (compare with something like Morgellons), but we don't know much beyond the fact that it seems to be a legitimate phenomenon.

I can't say that I get the classic ASMR "tingles" when watching this video (there's a certain kind of cellophane wrapper crinkling that does it for me), but good for you if you do!

I think the coma coming from all the chocolate gives me the wubba wubba's (my wife and I's term) just watching the vid. I didn't get it on this but experienced it before. It does appear to warrant a name and local habitation...science or psuedo.

I'm old fashioned, a lot of internet just goes under my bridge. Come to think of it, most fads have no attraction for this kat. Nothing on earth improves chocolate other than being European made and 70% content or higher. For variety I have a stock [Swiss] with orange rind, another with red chiles.
My autonomous sensory responses are quelled briefly in fits of TAS [Tool Acquisition Syndrome]. Using them provides long term relief. Right now hankering C4, C6 and DA-180 collets.
Searching out cures isn't part of agenda.

I have to admit I'm the type of guy who would switch out a couple of the items with the real thing or press some Ghost peppers into a paste then mold them into shapes and coat them with the candy coating either way the result would be permanent

I was very influenced by the 10-part What's Noka Worth article at DallasFood.org years ago. DallasFood is like an anonymous tell-all gossip blog, but instead of dishing dirt about celebrities, it drops secrets about chocolate manufacturing and chocolate companies and chocolate history. Anyway, the author debunked Noka, the then "#1 Luxury Chocolate in the World", and, in the process, revealed a great deal about chocolate.

These days you can get lots of these bars, including various Amedeis, on Amazon.
