The Effect of Error in the Home Sensor on Centroid CNC Screw Mapping

It was intuitively obvious to me that accurate screw mapping depended on knowing my location on the screw accurately. To my surprise, once I reasoned it out, I found that this is not the case. I include a mathematical proof.

Please do not confuse position during screw mapping with using this mapping. Errors in Home directly affect knowing actual position.

On the other hand it was intuitively obvious to me that it did not. I am glad that you have also found it so.

For me, the best part of discovery is finding out I was wrong. Then I learn something new.

I have been wrong many times, but I am not sure if I have ever learnt much.
