    Welcome aboard. I still use my 50 year old fence pliers a bit bulky for "T' post work but do just fine for barbed wire on ceder.
    I like your handy little tool and will have to remember it the next time I need to do some fencing

    Not detracting from that as it cost zilch: I have had a commercially made one (cost a couple of bucks) for about 20 or so years. It also has a hole in opposite end (lengthwise down the rod) that helps in occasions when the other hole doesn't fit the bill.

    I've had people tell me to drill a hole in the opposite end for tying a string - so I don't lose it
