Public place, full of people. At least two security guards, one runs off clutching lapel microphone. Unlikely sandal wearing man and guard only witnesses. But illuminates training and situational awareness aren't perfect; at least one instance where coolheaded instinct and reaction saved the day with minimal distress.

I wonder if they got that idea from my grandmother? As a kid I saw her once rip off her apron to use to smother a grease fire while cooking.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

Cool concept, but I find it easier to use a bumper line or a hose reel. Also a lot easier cleaning up.

So much fun here at HMT.net......bumper line, it turns out not a punchline, but where a fire truck can dispense hose!
Admittedly, I'll google [not Bing, yahoo, DuckDuckwhatever or other imaginatively named mode] any unknown term. And IE, are you kidding?
More scholarly pursuits, I hit Wikipedia and Copernic.
    Otherwise, tendencies are analog. https://tinyurl.com/mb3fgkj
