    Ford Injection pump wrench

If anyone has ever worked on the injection pump of the 7.3 IDI engine you know that the 3 bolts that hold it in place actually have 2 functions the first function is the obvious one, a means to mount the pump and adjust the timing The second function was the product of intentional design, which was to insure that no one would mess with the timing of the pump. or completely removing the pump while it was mounted to the timing gear housing then adjust the timing and remount it (Actually that is just an opinion)
To work on these things you almost need 2 thumbs on both hands because no matter which hand you use your thumb is on the wrong side unless you are sitting on the windshield wipers LOL
    OR this wrench

What you do is select a suitable 9/16 12 point combination wrench then grind the box to look similar to the picture. this will allow you to loosen the 2 lower bolts you will have to use the open end on the top bolt as there is less space between the bolt head and the pump
You could possibly use a crows foot but there is not much room for a ratchet
