A while back there was some talk about changing the wheels in a pit stop.
It looks like there are only about 1½ threads for the nut.

I have read that it takes 5 to 6 weeks to make a F1 brake disc.

you sent me on another la la mystery tour (lyric from an old song, in case there are any millennial readings this)

Good explanation of wheel change from the BBC

These guys look faster - 5 nuts in seconds not just one. With a 14 man team it could be down to 6 seconds, doing one side of the car at a time ?

Happy 4th gents, sorry its a bit late.

HowTF can they release this video with no footage of putting the 5 nuts back on?

There should be more bears hanging around on race days, perhaps some monkeys buggering off with tools during a pit change. Try doing a wheel change in 2 seconds with that sort of challenge. BTW Williams F1 hold the record for a tyre change at 1.92 seconds.
Was Renault then Red Bull at 1.923, that's a whopping 0.003 seconds faster. Red Bull must be so slow.
