Lookin good Captain, Nice use of the computer case for housing your electronics. Modular cables for the motors are a nice touch, I ran mine to a terminal strip but I really like your connectors.

    Looking forward to first cut.

    Cheers, JR

Hello JJR, Thank you for the kudos lets see you machine??....:O)
I put the side connectors on the gantry so I can remove the gantry for storage if I want.

I see, now you have a modular type machine. Mine is quite fixed in general but I can disassemble it for repair if needed but it is not designed to be modular with the exception of the spindle plates. I can install different spindles as the need arises.

Thanks Captain Lee, that machine cost me an entire hobby. I made it so I could make parts for my model airplane hobby and now I just seem to want to make more CNC or machine type tools. Making these tools is way more fun than cutting paths through the sky.
However I still have the parts I cut over 2 years ago for a B35 with 4 electric motors and I still want to build that one.

    Cheers, JR

Thanks for the update Cap'n! Quality wiring there and cable builds look Pro! Really Nice work!! Repurp'd another computer case too. Can't quite tell from the pics on how you mounted the pancake PS in there but sure fits pretty good and close coupled to the board (on Delrin/PE?). I might have mounted the board on some short stand-offs to get some cooling to the underside of the board??
