    Gouge sharpening Jig - wooden version

    Hi,
    I already showed my gouge sharpening jig for the wet grinder.
    As I said, I previously had a wooden made version of it, here it is, beside the metal one :









    This knob above is made in two layers, it is turned, parted into two pieces, then the center is carved to inlay the hex head of the screw, and the two pieces are glued back together.
    The 'knurl' is made with the marks purposely left by a 4 jaws chuck on my woodturning lathe, when over tightening it.
