Happy Wife Happy Life Under Sink Hooks

Installed two 'Roll-Out' shelves under the Kitchen Sink and noticed when the drawers are pushed in, or pulled out, loose items in the bins tend to tip over ...

Taller hooks for the lower shelves and shorter hooks for the upper shelves ...

Tested the hooks and they seemed to work so 3D-Printed a bunch more ...

Originally designed hooks to work with Rubber Bands and later found that the wife's hair ties worked even better.

The hooks slide where you need them and if the hair ties are rolled it creates and auto-rolling and spring back action to easily allow you to pull items out and put them quickly back in the drawer's bins under the sink.

Nothing fancy, but seems to work, and wife is happy so that means everyone is happy

That is a very useful addition to the kitchen storage shelves. We have the same type of sliding and retracting shelving in a kitchen corner cabinet where canisters on the shelves always slide to the back or fall over upon closing the cabinet door. I got to show your design to my wife. Thank you for the design concept, Paul

Yeah... I was just having some fun with the 3D-Printer ... but I think one could do the same thing in a few minutes by bending some heavy wire and then using the stretchy hair ties ... or buying some small S-hooks ...

... AND ... if ya wanted to get really fancy one could dip the wire S-Hooks in some Tool Handle 'Plastic-Dip' so the hooks will not slide on the chrome side rails.

Lots of ways to do the same thing *grin* ... For me just an excuse to play with the 3D-printer

    Thanks for the Note!! CHEERS!!
