    I still don't know if the above is the correct procedure. But now I know why they have 4 pieces of heavy equipment on a single rock.

    The tool box talk and risk assessment read something like - place big rock on trailer push until it crashes through cab and the rolls off down the hill. Full PPE should be avoided at all times. once rock has stopped moving in ditch, secure with lashings to prevent any subsequent movement which could cause injury.
