    jwitkowski's Tools

    Hello!

Hi! I'm a licensed Automotive and Truck & Coach mechanic in the Owen Sound area, Ontario, Canada. I have been a high school technology teacher for over 22 years. In planning for my teaching retirement, I have built a 30'x50' shop and am in the process of equipping it with metalworking tools and equipment. Some of the pieces I have purchased used and am restoring them, others I have built and/or am in the process of building them.

Sounds like you'll fit in well here. What tools are you building?

I have just finished two shrinker & stretcher stands. Previously, I built a rolling welding bench and a couple of stationary workbenches. Next on the 'build list' is a ball-turning lathe tool (once I get my Ex-Cell-O mill into operation), then motorized bead roller with my own dies, sliding drawers for the welding bench and the work benches. After that will be a custom tool cabinet/work bench. Tentative list - subject to change, of course!

Thanks, Jon! My introduction to this website was through my search for ball-turning ideas. I look forward to checking out many more posts!
