home made long reach clamp

hi guys, i needed a clamp that would reach into the middle of my work bench and clamp down ,,here's what i came up with...

great idea, if u have a large c-clamp.. for those who dont, and may not need high clamping force,(woodworkers) they do make vise grips w long reach arms...
