    The motor is 2.25 HP from a tread mill the controller is a icon mc-60.

    I picked up a wood lathe and I have 2 treadmill motors and one grainger controller and just picked up a treadmill that is too good to scrap may just resell all for free to pu. would like to make one and also a wind generator. what belt system did you use?
    1950 F1 street rod
    1949 F1 stock V8 flathead
    1948 F6 350 chevy/rest stock, no dump bed
    1953 chevy 3100 AD for 85 S10 frame going for a 4BT cummins motor, NV4500
    1968 Baha Bug with 2.2 ecotec motor, king coil-overs,P/S
    2000 National Sea Breeze 5th wheel trailer
    1998.5 Dodge 2500 4x4 Cummins,

    Thanks captainleeward for a simple fix that will get my walker turner turning again. I picked up two DC motors from a mobility scooter a few days ago. I can compair their output to a treadmill motor to see if I can use one on the lathe. if there not simular enough I will know what Im looking for. Cheers, Clarion Peals
