    I picked up a wood lathe and I have 2 treadmill motors and one grainger controller and just picked up a treadmill that is too good to scrap may just resell all for free to pu. would like to make one and also a wind generator. what belt system did you use?

    Thanks captainleeward for a simple fix that will get my walker turner turning again. I picked up two DC motors from a mobility scooter a few days ago. I can compair their output to a treadmill motor to see if I can use one on the lathe. if there not simular enough I will know what Im looking for. Cheers, Clarion Peals
