    Greetings from Canada.

A bar clamp from rebar eh? That is wacky and very ingenious. Congrats on a good design too.

I have a lot of rusted rebrad that i couldn't just throwaway, i wanted to get rid of it the right way , i guess that was the source of the ingenuity.
    Thank you Bob!

Very clever way to make these clamps. These would be something I would use outside where something has to be clamped for several days (and in the rain) and avoid rusting my expensive shop clamps.

Hola DIYer, realmente muy sencilla la prensa y económica de hacer, pero para mi hay un poco de falta de seguridad en esa amoladora que no tiene protección, recuerda que las manos son las mejores herramientas, hasta pronto.

Congratulations AMG warkshop, your Bar Clamp is our Best Documented Build winner for August 2016! Great detailed instructional article, 50+ pictures, and video.

AND, this is your third Best Documented Build win! You'll join rgsparber as one of our only two winners of the bronze wrench-on-scroll award graphic, now visible in the awards showcase in your postbit beneath your avatar.

This is a hard award to win. First of all, you're competing with everyone who built a tool over the entire past month, as opposed to a Tool of the Week win, which is already difficult enough. And building is not enough; you have to document everything meticulously, before and during the build. It's become so competitive that you need a lot of text explanation, pictures, and videos to be considered. To win it three times is very admirable.

Here are all of your Best Documented Build winning tools:

Please confirm your email address via PM to me, and I'll get your $35 award sent out, via your choice of PayPal, Amazon, GiftRocket, or bitcoin.

    Congrats again and nice work!

Good job. Thanks! Over my whole life I have found myself in many different countries away from civilization. Things like your re-bar clamp are the things that allow you to .....get by.
