Homemade Mini Jointer using Power Planer

    Hi,
    This is my first post.

I have recently built a Jointer for my hobby woodworking using a power planer. The build details are available on my blog at https://baijaldiy.blogspot.in

I also have a Sketchup file with dimensions. The file can be downloaded from my blog post by clicking on the 3D Warehouse icon in the Sketchup section. The dimensions of the parts are given in this file.

A few users have requested for plans. I have posted the Sketchup file which is at actual dimensions. This file can be downloaded from my build page at https://baijaldiy.blogspot.in by clicking on the 3D Warehouse icon located in the Sketchup section of the page. Once downloaded on your computer, the parts can be printed out. This has further advantage that any adjustment that may be required because of a different planer can easily be done. The planer I have is a Black & Decker model which for your country may be different.

    Baijalashok,
This is well made and useful for some of the small parts for cabinet making. I like how you made the mini jointer from materials most of us can find and easily make. The use of pocket screws makes assembly so much easier, exact and stronger.

    Thank you for posting.
    Regards, Paul
