We all know there are lots of applications for T-tracks when making jigs.
Time ago, I needed an adjustable pivot for cutting circles. Since commercial T-tracks are very large for this purpose, I made this mini T-track out of a leftover aluminum profile. The T-track carries a fixed spike that serves as a pivot, and runs in a groove of the jig.
A screw running within the T-track sets the distance of the rotation center from the cutting tool, according to the desired radius.
This mini T-track works great for cutting circles at the table saw, at the band saw, at the jig saw table, and also for sanding circles. Soon I'll be posting each one of these jigs.
