    Homemade table mount for powerplane.

Made a table mount for my powerplane.
Easy to connect and remove after use.

Planned dedicated table at first, but noticed that it takes too much space. So, i decided to make this.

Actual mount. My plane has two extraction ports, i decided to use one to get firm connection.
Port is cone shaped, i turned a piece of nylon to fit in.
Inner end is 44mm diameter, outer 46. Cone shape is 25mm long. Nylon plug is connented to mounting plate with M8 bolt.

Outfeed support. Bolts, steel and bearings.

2mm steel plate. For better slide. Secured with screws from both ends. And epoxy from the middle.

Really like it Tuomas and you used almost all of your builds to build it. That is the true spirit of HMT's in a nutshell. The blade guard (nice) and also a great idea for the Outfeed roller support, although I might have made it adjustable height...just in case. ~¿@ Most Excellent as always.

Thanks mate. I keep my sheet metal brake on that same spot. So, i needed to make that roller so small that it fits under the brake. Little compromise with that. Alltought... most likely i do some changes to it someday.. i got another idea for it, then i could add height adjustment ( or higher roller ) to the support.

That's an awesome idea. I will be drawing on some of those ideas with my own build. I have a long bed B&D electric planer that I think would be perfect for making a small jointer but I don't want a super complicated build that makes it difficult to use freehand when I want to.

    Decided to try couple changes..

    Homemade table mount for powerplane.-0.jpg

Changed the outfeed support to this..

    Homemade table mount for powerplane.-1.jpg

And moved old outfeed support to the front...

    Homemade table mount for powerplane.-2.jpg

Lined supports so that back area from the outfeed support is same line with the bottom of the plane.
    This gives much smoother use.

(Ps. It might look that i have located plane little stupidly, to the spot that has no much room on the sides?
No worries, im going to move that table and those shelfs to better position.)

Decided to keep my bending brake on its originally designed location. Alltought i need to use miter saw stand only with long pieces.

Thanks. Its a shame that there's no good option for mounting, that would work with all brands. ( without looking ugly ). So, this solution was for the one that i had.

Btw.. One asked why i painted that guard attachment white?

Reason is that i can easily see if i have forgot to install it.
When it sticks to the eye, its easier to notice that something is missing.
Black would have looked better, but i tought its "safer" to paint it noticeable.

Funny how one sees "Improvements" after a bit of use. Nice additions with the metal slide surface, 2 guides and using the saw guide to create a tunnel for the stock is Excellent! Thanks for posting your further Mods!!
