Hello all,
I would like to introduce you to my first project, which is a vise on a thrust bearing. The trapezoidal screw comes from a car jack that lied in the garage like most of the materials used for the project. So the only costs I've incurred are a dozen electrodes and a metal cutting disc.

great job, but when mounting a general purpose vise the rear stationary jaw should extend at least an inch in front of the table its mounted on so u can clamp long items.
