I have done some heavy hauling in my time, I've even pulled a multi module Goldhofer a few times but never anything with anywhere near that many modules linked into becoming 1 unit. That is truly impressive 2 puller tractors and 2 pusher units each one probably in the 600 HP range WOW!
Ralph turning something like that is an event in itself but the beauty of the Goldhofers is if you are on less than a 3% grade you can uncouple all of the trucks from the module unit and allow it to self power around a turn all axles can be independently steered and are hydraulically powered for traction. Often when module units are used to transport short distances less than a few miles they sometimes don't even use a truck in conjunction with them at all. That being said there are module trailers that do not have tractive power just steering those must have at least 1 truck to pull them
Back in th elate 80s while contracting at a Caterpillar rebuild shop I sometimes wound up hauling some of the equipment in that I was going to rebuild

    Cooling set of pics.

I often run business ideas through my head and one of those ideas was a park where you get to take rides in massive mining equipment. This is something I imagine kids old love. Probably grown men too, you know Tonka for big boys. Of course the problem here is the capital required to buy even one truck, lets not forget a big front end loader and a dozer. About the only place I could imagine this working is outside of Las Vegas.
