    another way to add safety to a drill press is to add a foot switch, no wiring just plug it in to wall then plug DP into switch,,20$,, u can also use this to tap if your DP will go that slow,and u have reverse..

    Very good idea. I just made one up from junk drawer parts and will see how it works.

    Excellent mod there. Makes a regular drill press table work like a T slot table...with a twist
