    Captain,

Wow, very nice Kant Twist clamps! I paid way too much even in the old days with Enco with their 40% discounts.

    Regards,

    Paul

Nice CNC project. Mill, plasma cutter or waterjet. Or 3dprint? Worth exploring patents if you want to pay for your new CNC investment. The basic idea for this device has got to be in a patent that is past it's 17 year expiration. They may have later patents on improvements that can be avoided if you know what they are. Obviously you can't sell it with a name that is naything like the "Kantwist" trademark. Personally I'd market it as a kit requiring some finish work. Like find whatever shape stock for the jaws you want or even blanks you can machine or shape yourself.

Nice job Captain. I've been looking for a very deep throat clamp (about an 18" throat) with reasonable holding force. With lengthening and beefing up of the legs I think this could be a winner. Do you have drawings available that I could work from?
