    Lathe Chuck Backplate from a Barbell Weight

    I made a chuck backplate for my South Bend 9 inch lathe from a barbell weight:

    I'm going to leave the back the way it is with the Weider, etc. cast in. Someday in the future somebody might regard this as a curiosity.
