About dframe
- Biography:
- I'm a newbie here. I've been woodworking for the past 42 yrs. I started building interiors in commercial offshore boats at the age of of 14. I was taught how to build interiors for workboats, crew boats, river push boats, and ferries. We fabricated pilot chairs, passenger seating. bunk beds, interior boat booths, and the like. 90% of the boats we worked on were offshore crew and work boats, river push boats, and ferries. I was also taught how to sew, upholster, and paint. As I got older, I went into the finer end of woodwork. I'm not new at making jigs or tools that allow me to do the jobs at hand, but nothing like I've seen on this website. Hopefully, with your help, I'll learn a lot more about tool building. I love solid woodwork and I believe in building furniture that can be passed along to my grandchildrens, grandchildrens. grandchildren.
