    Hello,
I have just read on a forum that you may have drawing for car Jack's/hoist I'm only 15 years old and my job does not allow me to just go out and buy one ready made as they are way out of my budget plus I enjoy welding and making things like that. As I do all the servicing on my parents car having the whole car in the air will be much easier. So any plans or advice would me greatly appreciated.
I will not be building them buy my self but also with my dad's guidens for safety reasons.
You said that your drawing were similar to a Omer scissor lift*

    Thanks in advance

About Frank S
Biography:
I started designing and building things long before I can even remember. My first memory of making something was when I was 5 years old I had constructed a 3 dimensional model of a DC3 aircraft then gave it to my dentist because his son was a pilot on a DC3 that card board model hung in the dentist office until he retired. Skip ahead to age 11 I went to work as an apprentice in a blacksmith shop where I worked until I went into the Army at 17 where I became a Sapper then later an airborne ranger & long range recon specialist/ cross trained as a heavy vehicle mechanic. 6 years of the Army was enough for me to complete BA. after the Army I went to work at a place where I designed and built some oilfield drill rigs. in 82 I struck out on my own with a portable shop complete with a welding machine/ lathe Mill and all of the tools to go along with it. in 88 I bought 10% of an engineering and manufacturing company. That built automotive lifts among other things like freight elevators. in 93 that company was sold so I opened my own machine and fabrication shop which I ran until 2002 when I went to Kuwait for the 2nd time. the first time was in 91 for 3 months while the fires were still burning. my second time in Kuwait was to start a manufacturing division in a small company. During my 10 years there as the senior engineer we developed into a company with 7 divisions. now retired or as my wife calls it retarded. I am getting ready to build me a small man cave machine and fabrication shop of around 6000 sq ft
