- Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. 4th generation woodworker. New to metalworking. One of my grandfathers was a welder and machinist. I was always fascinated with what he could do with metal. Unfortunately, we lived 4 hours away and I did not get a chance to learn from him. My dad is a master woodworker and a terrific welder - a skill he learned in the navy.
