    Tuomas's Tools

    Metal vise

    Made a metal vise.

    Materials:

    10mm steel plate.
    50mm x 50mm x 5mm square tubing
    12mm bar stock for handle
    30mm x 30mm bar stock for connecting handle.
    Trapezoidal threaded rod and a nut.

    Very simple design.




    Edit: Of course i spelled vise wrongly... Lol

    Thank you very much!
    Its evolution 185mm multicutting blade. It cuts wood too.
    Note that its intented to be used with max 3200 rpm speed.

    That's magnetic drill, can be mount firmly to any magnetic metal surfaces. ( if material is thick enough) Very handy for bigger projects.

    Vise had little too much clearance on sideways. Fixed that with two M10 bolts on the both sides.
    Those leans against slide and keeps jaws straight when using only one end of the jaws. That gives little better hold, and even pressure.

    Bolts are cut to suitable lenght and locked with spring washers.
