    Mini Plate Clamps

    Mini plate Clamps made from CRS 1/4" x 2-1/2" with a 3/8" wide slot. Inspiration by Tom Lipton of OX Tools, great video's.

    Catfish's Tools
    The plate is 6061 Alu. 8x8x1, the holes are threaded 3/8-16 on a 1x1in pattern. The strap clamps are CRS 1018 Steel, 7/8x2-1/2x1/4, the slot is 3/8wide x 1-1/4 long. 45 deg on the nose side and top. Pretty simple and sure works great for hard to hold pieces. Tom Lipton used 10-32 holes, see his you tube video on his mini palette setup.

    After looking at your photos, I just realized an additional 'feature' of the clamping plate with array of holes...clamping at a specific angle! It's been right under my nose the whole time...
