Let me put in a plug here...

If you're ever anywhere near Carlsbad, CA (on the coast between Los Angeles and San Diego) be sure to visit the Craftsmanship Museum...

    The Internet Craftsmanship Museum

It's kind of a nirvana for metalworkers, miniaturists and modelmakers. The brainchild of Joe Martin, the founder of Sherline tools, it's, in my opinion, the best use of a business fortune ever.

And the Craftsmanship Museum is a great source for Tool Talk posts too!

Pedro66 - I should note that these are Paul Hamler's work. I don't know if he sells any of his stuff.

As an addition I was talking to a fellow at the Caboolture markets who specialists in hard to find tools. He took great pride showing me a miniature kit made from brass and rosewood. I am unsure of scale of the kit however the largest ball pein hammer is approximately 40mm in length. This kit has every imaginable tool included in a custom made box. The most amazing thing however was that it has taken him 40years the get to this stage, and he has no plans of stopping adding to it any time soon. I will try to post a few photos as soon as i work out how to do it.
