    Most dangerous power hammer design?

    I titled this thread with a question mark, because, on the internet, there's always a more dangerous build.

    Nevertheless, this one is quite a find, and you'll see why at 0:15.

    That's wrong on so many levels it's hard to believe. In any sane society even thinking of building something like that should be an indictable offense.

    Nevertheless, it's a great example of getting it done with what you have.

    The hammer action is semi-reasonable; the eccentric swinging mass, questionable welds and metal fatigue make it exciting and hazardous duty.

    Let's amend that to

    "breaking out of a POW camp guarded exclusively by stone-deaf guards".

    They're just no way you can test that contraption without waking the neighbors.

    Ever tried to crack macadamia nuts? That may be just the tool for the job. Surely don't want to hand hold them, though.
