    Very interesting. I've heard of this axe before, and wondered if it's effective. I would be concerned about the effect of that twisting motion on the wrists. With a traditional axe or maul, when you get a bad swing, the twist can knock the tool out of your hands.

    It's very well reviewed on Amazon, but hard to justify the $350 USD price tag.

    Anyone have a guess as to what type of wood they're splitting in the video? I'm guessing something very dry, with a perfectly straight grain.
