My wife had a fork in the motorhome that was (I think) a training fork. Square ended tines that wouldn't pick anything up. She continued to give me that fork after repeated complaints about it's uselessness. This is what I did with it. I told her "if you like it that much--wear it."

Not quite the work or quality of your work, but it got the point across.

Very inspiring Tuomas! Love seeing how you do the feathers. I've not done the kind of work you do with the spoons w/stainless. It seems you heat the spoon before you work it. Is this true, does it change the temper or just take off some kind of finish? Now that I have a functional rotary tool I'm thinking of trying my hand at some these spoons. Even though I have an oxy/acetylene rig, that little torch seems very handy too.

Thanks. I like to make something way different sometimes, spoons bought from flea market are very cheap material.

Heating to 200-400 of celsius makes cold formed (<- translated from finnish term don't know actual term in english)stainless softer. Specially cheaper ones, wich are mainly just stamped without any heat treating afterwards.
I (believe) that i have noticed difference.
