    pictures of the work tables.

Finally got some pictures that I can post if I can figure out how. Picture of the table on the truck , in action, table is 1" plate currently waiting for a hydraulic cylinder to raise and lower. The frame is used with the porta power cylinders for all sorts of things. It stands up to the 10 ton and 30 ton cylinders, but the 50 tonner is a bit much. The portable table extends out 30" on one end and has electrical outlets plumbed to it. It goes to job sites sometimes and is set up to use with adjustable stands to level platforms etc.pictures of the work tables.-2014-08-22-16.58.41.jpgClick image for larger version.

    Hi,

I'm not sure exactly what's depicted in the photo above. Does the frame have a purpose of its own, or is it only a component of the table you described?

It's too bad you have trouble uploading. I'm always interested in work table setups.

The frame resting on top of the table is a fire escape platform base for the church. The table underneath is 2 pieces of 12" 65 # Ibeam cut off at the web with a 1" gap between them. The length is 38" with a 10" strip of 3/4 plate on a slide that extends about 30". It all sets on a 1 1/2 pipe frame with 2 10" wheels on one end and leveling legs on the other end. The table top is heavy enough to weld to and pound on' yet I can wheel it up on a trailer and load some stands to go do a job that requires a more permanent setup than the truck table. It came into existance on a house job where I made several structural steel forms. This was for porch railings, and roof setups as well as post supports. My main layout table is 1" X 52 X68 now. I'm trying to get out of the biggetr projects and stick to smaller things.

Ah, I see now. Nice table; seems very sturdy. Any chance of a photo without the frame resting on top to distract the viewer from your great table?

ID:	3394I think the pictures of the table made it. The other one is of a plasma cutter converted from 3 phase to single phase. it may not have come thru. There has to be a better way.
