This Komet, built by flyvulcan on HomebuiltAirplanes.com, is an unusual build of a twin-engine jet.
The Komet is powered by 2 JetBeetle H150R 180 lbs thrust jet engines. It's configured as a taildragger, and has endless modifications and fabrications, including a 15" stretched fuselage, fabricated nosecone, and a fabricated dual passenger/pilot canopy.
The builder, along with three helpers, are building this unique plane from a barebones 1990s kit, with little outside technical help. This is a rare build, and the builder knows it when says:
"I should advise readers now that there was never a set of plans, nor construction manual for the kit that I bought, so we are working in real 'experimental' land with this project."
