This SPA Panther was built by Tony Spicer on EAAForums.org.

The Panther was a new plane from Sport Performance Aviation, designed by Dan Weseman. The "beta builds" were done by a few builders, and the build thread is actually written by a combination of those three builders (Tony, Dick Fisher, and Bob Wooley).

The Panther is a mid-sized single-seat low-wing aerobatic plane with quick fold wings. It's constructed from steel tubing and aluminum, and is designed for maneuverability and performance.

Like all great build threads, this one includes homemade tools. In this case, it was a dimpling tool made from scrap aluminum and rod, plus some mods to a Harbor Freight trim router.
