Frank and Marv,
I too have the serval of the same jar cap openers for small paint jars and had not tried these on the PVC solvents and primers. Will have to use these the next time. Thanks, Paul
I didn't mean to suggest that what I showed is better than your solution, which has the distinct virtue of being right there on the tool you use to cut the PVC.
I always try to keep future readers of a thread in mind by suggesting things associated with the thread subject that a reader interested in the general idea might find interesting.
Thanks Rick! We've added your PVC Cutter Modification to our Miscellaneous category, as well as to your builder page: Rick's Homemade Tools. Your receipt:

Many of us do this to some degree; now some call this high-jack or thread hack, not I.
I enjoy how perspective, resources and need ignite results. My favorite feature of HMT.net may be that very thing.
Frequently cross posts I hadn't seen, or a search pulls up seemingly unrelated thread content. Going through them point in various directions for solutions; much like individual thought process or a conversation with others. Like Rick's signature, collectively we are immeasurably more creative than as separate parties.
