QCTP height setup
Hi,
I frequently use my QCTP for holding my Dremel, for grinding or sanding on the lathe.
Then, I need to be able to setup the height along the vertical axis with a wider range than what simply permits the QCTP.
I have imagined this simple setup that allows for setting up the tool both lower and higher than what is possible with the original system.
I replaced the set screw by a long screw, and I inserted this angled piece of metal sheet under the handle.
The knurled knob stops against this inserted stop, and the vertical setting up range is widely enhanced.
Of course, when I come to be limited, I shift to my milling square, but this takes more time to install.
