Quick Change Lathe Turret

I designed and built this Quick Change Lathe Turret about a dozen years ago. I used it on an 11" Logan model 1955 right up until I sold the lathe. It is able to index in 30 degree increments and holds 4 tools simultaneously. The available tool holders are: Turning, Facing, Boring, Parting, and V-Block. It took quite a bit of time to design and build but was fun and rewarding.

Do you have drawings (sketches) for construction?

I am wondering how your eccentric works to grip the dovetail.

and what are those vertical allen screws for on the "corners" ?

Nice project, I'd like to emulate.

Thank you for the complement!
Yes, I do have plans for this QCTP Turret. The plans are very detailed and involved with 9 pages of text and pictures plus 16 fully detailed drawings. I will have to get them to Jon for listing on this forum. The vertical allen screws on the corners actuate the locking mechanism for the dovetails. It is actually a cam system which converts vertical movement to horizontal movement. It functions very well and does the job. Thanks for asking!
