    Quick fill for air tanks

I run my own Towing/Salvage business . I always carry 2 air tanks in my truck. This little jewel saves me a heck of a lot of time filling my air tanks. (just in case some may not know it a 1/2 drive Impact uses very little volume ) I have ran my impact guns off of this tank to remove tires. )

I have had one of those for years. I used a piece of Stainless wire to attach it to the handle of the tank so I can always find it.

Makes filling the tank Soooooo much better than using the Schrader valve. Just hook it up and open the valves and walk away until the compressor stops.

    Great tip!!

I made the same thing for my air tank, but I added a ball valve between the 2 fittings. No wasted air this way.

If you turn the valve off at the tank and unplug the hose first there is very little wasted air.

That would only work if I had a valve at my tank.

sorry Harvey . I have valves on all 3 of my tanks. It helps prevent leak down.

I can see how that would help. My tank is an empty freon tank, so a valve would make it taller, which wouldn't be good.

One of my favorite uses for this tank is to run my nail guns when I just a few nails to shoot.
