Shop IV stand
Years ago my daughter's computer chair died a horrible death by cat-scratch and was about to be discarded. I rescued the nice five branch rolling base and fitted it with a closet pole to make my IV stand. Two floodlights on the top crossbar provide nice light for working under the hood of the car. A plywood circle was rescued from a discarded cable spool and used to fit a small shelf.
I don't do much car work anymore (can't find the carburetor) so now the IV stand serves as a mobile stand for my Dremel flexible shaft as well as a print holder (I made a large magnetic print holder that hangs from it) and, of course, it's still a mobile light stand.
