Shop tent and Wind wall tent door

In the past couple of weeks I decided it was high time to set up a covered work area.
A few reasons were behind this #1 for a couple of days the temps were hitting the mid 80s with no clouds so trying to cut and weld with the sun blazing down it the back of my helmet made it that much more difficult to see what I was doing since I no longer have my Gilcrest Pancake welding helmet. I guess some day I will have to make a new one.
Last year I had made all of the fittings for a double bar shop tent Not sure if I posted them or not. So about all I needed top do was to piece together the pipes and the fittings then stretch a tarp over to have a nice tent, which turned out to be about 24ft by 25 ft and about 18 ft tall in the center. This solved the sun or the rain when we do get rain LOL. But having the Machine-shop van on the North side and a tarp erected on the Sout side it now concentrated the wind.
Since I need to be able to drive through or use my backhoe for lifting I didn't want to close in either of the 2 remaining sides. Since the winds mostly come from the South West or North West I decided to just make a wind-wall which would also serve as a door.

Trhe nice thing is later when I get around to building my shop I can make the wind -wall door about twice as tall and frame it probably with 6 inch "C" purlins to make a nice 25 ft by 17 ft door

we had a day of sustained winds in the range of 35 MPH last week I was a little breezy in side but at least it it was bearable Since this is a temporary work space I have no desire to try and block all of the wind, I just needed to slow it down enough so I could cut grind and weld without the errant spark being carried hundreds of feet away and starting a fire. The grass is beginning to green up now as well so fire risks are getting lower
