    Shovel laddder - GIF

Doubtful. It's like a homeless person with no income owning an aircraft for personal transportation. In Asia, everything is stupid expensive. Labor is pennies a day per person comparatively speaking.

    Go Ahead, Eat my dust.

I think mixed concrete may have been easier but the consistency would need to be perfect. Hand mixing at top= wonder how long the building would stand in a tornado or cyclone or if hit by a heavy vehicle or crane.

Just goes to show what can be done when you live where there are not ready access to multi million dollar redimix batch plants cement delivery trucks cranes with concrete buckets or pumper rigs to assist in the completion of a project.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

Imagine the red tape here. The scaffold, safety railing, weight, dust etc. I've seen where western verandahs have collapsed with less folk, withoutthe weight of cement & blend, probably due to inadequate structural/canterleaving fixing. It isn't always the builder cutting corners/costs.
Sure beats 50 buckets being hoisted by twine. and it is noticable how used to it they all are. the underdogs would cop (as usual) most of the dust.
